Pocket Congress does not collect personal information. The app does send minimal usage statistics so I can learn how people are using it, but steps have been taken to ensure the data is not used for any sort of ad personalization or to track you across different services. I cannot link any data to your identity.

Find Your Representatives

It takes trust to let an app know your location. If you share your location with Pocket Congress, know that it is sent to a Google server to find your congressional district. Your location is encrypted in transit and is not stored on the server longer than required. Furthermore, Pocket Congress only requests your location within 1 kilometer of accuracy, and location data is never sent to me (the developer). If you feel uncomfortable with that level of granularity, Pocket Congress is usually still able to ascertain your congressional district with precise location off.
